Booking terms
What you and Headfirst agree to when you book an appointment online.
Who your booking is with
Headfirst, which is run by Headfirst Hair Ltd (sample), 132 High Street, Wivenhoe, Colchester CO7 9AF. Phone 01206 820566. Email headfirst@example.com.
Company number 01234567 (sample). Registered office: 132 High Street, Wivenhoe, Colchester CO7 9AF (sample). VAT number GB123456789 (sample).
Making a booking
Online booking needs at least 2 hours' notice. Your appointment is booked when you see the "Booking confirmed" screen, which shows your reference. A confirmation is also sent to your email address.
Please check the service, date and time before you confirm, and give a mobile number and email address we can reach you on.
Prices
The price of each service is shown before you book and includes VAT. Where a price says "from", the final price depends on your hair and what is needed, and is agreed with you before the work starts.
Paying
No payment is taken online. You pay in the salon on the day of your appointment.
Changing or cancelling
You can change the time of your booking, or cancel it, free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts. Use the link in your confirmation email, or "My bookings" if you have a login.
Inside the last 24 hours a booking can no longer be changed or cancelled online. Please call 01206 820566 as soon as you can.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or miss an appointment without telling us, we may ask for a deposit before taking your next booking.
Running late
If you are running late, please call us. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may need to shorten your service or move it to another day, so the next client is not kept waiting.
If the salon has to change your appointment
Occasionally an appointment has to be moved or cancelled, for example because of illness. You will be contacted as soon as possible and offered another time. If no other time suits you, anything you paid online for that appointment is refunded in full.
Children
Appointments for children should be booked by a parent or guardian.
Waiting list
Joining the waiting list is free and is not a booking. The salon will contact you if a time comes up, and you are free to say no.
Also
SAMPLE WORDING: the lateness and missed-appointment rules and the business details on this page are placeholders for testing, to be replaced before real bookings are taken.
Messages about your booking
When you book, we send you messages about it by email: a confirmation, a reminder before your appointment, a message if anything has to change, and a thank-you afterwards. These are part of your booking, not advertising.
You can stop reminders and thank-you messages at any time on the Your messages page. Confirmations of bookings, changes and cancellations always go.
News and offers are only sent if you tick the box for them when you book, and you can stop them on the same page.
Your details
How your details are used is set out in the privacy notice.
Your legal rights and complaints
Nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and if something is not right, please tell the salon so it can be put right. Contact 01206 820566 or headfirst@example.com.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
